Little Things & The Eternal Now

The "Eternal Now".
When you commit to live in and with mindfulness you learn how to look for small moments of pleasure and beauty everywhere, everyday.
I started a journal just to write about those little moments and that's part of my Art Series and Art Exhbition that I briefly talked about in the last post.
As a visual artist I have several sketchbooks and I preffer sketchbooks over notebooks. I buy sketchbooks and I use for everything. I use them as journals and planners and of course, sketchbooks.
I hate lined pages.
I preffer the freedom of an empty page.

I just bought this beautiful, old pastel pink vegan leather bound sketchbook to use as a journal for this year of 2025. It has heavy duty paper that is ideal for writing, sketching, watercolour, etc.
When I open it, when I'm ready to start unleashing my creative urges on it, there are those four small lines on the first page staring at me, mocking me.
And I start laughing because "Why there are lines on my sketchbook? What am I going to do with them?"
I was about to write one of my life's mottos and one of my favourite poems, and now I am paralized. I don't know what to do with those four small lines in my way.
Maybe I'll rip the page off, maybe I'll glue something on top of it to get rid it. Or, maybe, I'll write on it...
